The Millburn PS football team’s long, successful season came to a close this afternoon following a heartbreakingly narrow 3-2 defeat to St John’s PS. This was a game which had our players and large support experience every emotion imaginable. From excitement and jubilation to frustration and disbelief, it really is hard to put into words. Everyone connected to this team should be feeling IMMENSELY PROUD this evening. As performances go, the Millburn team’s performance was incredible and undoubtedly the group gave it their absolute all on the pitch today. Our young side will have learned a lot from today’s game and this experience will certainly stand them in good stead as they continue on their footballing journey. Doherty Shield semi finalists, Killowen Shield finalists and Mullan Cup Champions - we’ve had a blast!
